Remembrance Vol. 1. (2015) Live from Japan. (2015) Remembrance Vol. 1 is a three-CD album by blues rock guitarist and singer Johnny Winter. [1] It is a compilation of live recordings, many of them previously released, selected from throughout Winter's career. It was released on the Friday Music label on January 13, 2015.
Johnny Winter has done and seen just about everything. One thing he had yet to do was play in Japan. This is one of the few places that his touring hadn't taken him, until now. This show was recorded on April 15, 2011, the third night of three sold out shows, at the famed Zepp Tokyo Music Hall in the heart of the world's largest city.
