I mainly use the "Fifth Beatle" label as it is what most of us can 'universally' relate to as a measure of how important a person was in relation to the group. And it is my OPINION that George Martin was the most important musical accomplice they had. I stress 'opinion' here, since when it comes to The Beatles, it's all opinion in the end.
