  6. Profile. William Milberg is Professor of Economics at the New School for Social Research and Eugene Lang College and Director of the Heilbroner Center for Capitalism Studies at The New School. He served as Dean of the New School for Social Research from 2013-2023 and as Chair of the Department of Economics from 1998-2001 and 2009-2012.
