27 de oct. de 2017 · Band members, Russ Ballard and Bob Henrit, went on to join the UK band Argent, with lead singer, Rod Argent, who had a hit in the early 70’s titled “Hold Your Head Up”. Ballard and Henrit remained with Argent until 1978. Henrit went on tour in 1978 with The Kinks and was a session drummer on several albums for The Who in the early 80’s.
12 de feb. de 2023 · Following the two Johns’ departure in the late 1970s, Jim Rodford became the Kinks’ bassist (after a short tenure by Andy Pyle) and Ian Gibbons took over on keyboards. Original drummer Mick Avory left the band in 1983, to be replaced by Bob Henrit. Mark Haley played keyboards for a period in the late 80s/early 90s.

In late 1968, Bob teamed up with Russ Ballard, Jim Rodford and ex-Zombies keyboard player Rod Argent to form Argent, and remained with them until the band ended in 1976. After a brief spell with Jim Rodford and John Verity as Phoenix , Henrit's post-Argent career included work with a number of artists, including Charlie , after their 1978 tour opening for The Kinks, and Ian Matthews .
