The Felsteed mount is now just a spell you train from a Warlock Trainer. It costs 100 mana to summon and a 3 second cast time...nothing more, nothing less. No soul shards required. You also automatically get Riding Skill 75 so you can go ahead and buy your racial mount and still be able to use the Warlock mount. Happy?
Warlock mount quest in pre-patch. It's my understanding that epic mounts/training become cheaper in the pre-patch - does anyone remember if there are any changes to the Warlock epic mount quest? I'm about to hit 60 and just wondering if it'd be better to wait. No the items and mats you need remain the same.

Warlock ability. 1.5 sec cast. Summons a Felsteed, which serves as a mount. Felsteeds are summonable rare warlock mounts and the name of the spell to summon this mount. Unlike the epic [Dreadsteed] you do not need to have the riding skill trained in order to learn/use this mount, so once you learn the spell, you have the training.
