It's shown in the earlier stage Death Wish, that the Fans got a call from the Son and assaulted the building, killed the gangsters. the Swans found everyone silent, then the son appeared, shot Ash, and Alex too.
The Son is one of the playable characters of Hotline Miami 2. His Name appeared in the leaked footage in the level editor part of the game. He is the character I know even less about then The Soldier.
