Ethel Rethor is a night elven ruin in the far northwest of Desolace.[41, 31] Most of the ruins are located under-water with the exception of a lone tower with a small bridge leading to a closed entrance. Prior to the cataclysm, the Argent Dawn representative Azore Aldamorthas could be found here. As with many other coastal elven ruins this one is also inhabited by naga.
For some reason this NPC was not speaking to me, even though the WoW "?" was on the map. I tried to figure out what was the problem, only to come up empty. At a last ditch effort, I went to get my Cenarion Circle rep up, from neutral to friendly. Took one clear of AQ20, came back and suddenly this NPC wanted to speak to me.
