The programme involves the construction of 12 environment-friendly buildings, Bullitt Center being the first and largest among them. A six-storey building, the Bullitt Center is located at the intersection of Central District and Capital Hill in Seattle.
The Bullitt Center is an office building that is also open to the public for tours. If you are coming to the Bullitt Center to visit a tenant, enter via the door on Madison Street. The phone by the door will connect you with tenants so they can buzz you into the building. If you are coming to the Bullitt Center for a tour, please come to the entrance located at 1501 E. Madison Avenue.

Like a Doug fir forest, the Bullitt Center re-uses water and returns excess to the soil. 100% of the water used in the Bullitt Center comes from captured rainwater. Greywater is treated and re-used in the vacuum-flush toilet system. Excess greywater is returned to the soil to help recharge the aquifer.
