Interestingly, Argentina is home to one of the largest Irish communities in the world, with around 40,000 Irish people emigrating to the South American country in the 19th and 20th centuries.
March 16 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Irish Arts Minnesota (IAM), in partnership with Landmark Center, proudly hosts its annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration on Saturday, March 16, 2024, featuring regional and local Irish entertainment, Irish dance, Celtic vendors, Irish cuisine, pipe bands, and children’s crafts and entertainment.
March 17 is a day for huge celebrations in Ireland. However, due to Ireland's history of emigration, many people around the world consider themselves to be partly Irish because of their ancestral connections. This means that Saint Patrick's Day parties take place around the world, from Boston to Tokyo, Sydney to Buenos Aires.

11 de mar. de 2022 · In 2008, St Patrick's Day religious celebrations in Ireland were moved forward two days to 15 March because 17 March 2008 fell on the second day of Easter Week, a celebration which takes priority over any other feast days. In 1940, the religious celebrations of St Patrick's Day were also moved when the day clashed with Palm Sunday.
