14 de abr. de 2019 · Para 1972, fecha de salida de Octopus al mercado, Gentle Giant ya tenían bastante experiencia en el mundillo. Su debut homónimo ya presentaba a una banda con muchísimo potencial, pero eso sí, sin ninguna personalidad. La música era buena, pero sonaban a simples seguidores de Robert Fripp y sus huestes carmesíes.
