Fats & Friends DVD Review by Gary Schwind. This DVD shows one night at Storyville in New Orleans, which Paul Shaffer called "a rock n roll piano summit." It certainly is that. The show begins with Fats Domino, who plays seven songs. This is as close as I've ever come to seeing Fats live and even seeing him on DVD is a treat.

Biografie Fats Domino (1962) Antoine „Fats“ Domino, der französisch-kreolischer Abstammung war, lernte das Klavierspielen von seinem Schwager Harrison Verrett.Bei einem Arbeitsunfall in der Fabrik, in der er bereits mit 14 Jahren arbeitete, hätte er beinahe seine Finger verloren. 1948 heiratete er seine Jugendfreundin Rosemary Hall, mit der er acht Kinder großzog.
