  1. Had a nice walk along Saltburn beach. Pebbly in parts and watch those tidal times so you don't get caught out! Did a circular up the beach and back along a cycle route past allotments into town. The beach has a pier too which is easy to walk out on. Sadly the funicular, the cliff tramway was out of use and getting repaired.

If you're after something a little different, Saltburn Arts would be a great thing to do on our evening in Saltburn. A space for theatre, comedy and music, this place is a treasure trove for hidden gems.

  3. Child friendly. It’s a lovely mixed beach of pebbles and sand but might prove difficult to enjoy a day by the beach if the tide is in.   4. 18 de nov. de 2020 · 4. Sandy Point Nature Reserve. This fantastic spot on Hayling Island deserves its own point as it’s one of the best things to do on Hayling Island. You can park up near the beach and walk all the way round the Sandy Point Nature Reserve, which will take in the Hayling Island Sailing Club and the Lifeboat Centre too.

  7. 3 de ene. de 2024 · As I’m lucky enough to live less than a two-hour drive from Saltburn Beach, a visit to dog-friendly Saltburn by the Sea is often on the cards for us. I’ve spent almost ten years exploring the best things to do in Saltburn on Sea on day trips and weekend breaks 🙂. I could’ve photographed that view all day long!
