About Face is one of the most overproduced albums I ever heard. It's embarrassing compared to Pink Floyd standards. There are other '80s albums that are better produced than this.

Longplay spotkał się co prawda z pewnym zainteresowaniem (doszedł do 21. miejsca UK Albums Chart i 32. pozycji w amerykańskim notowaniu), ale można przypuszczać, że bardziej przyczyniła się do tego sława byłego muzyka Pink Floyd, niż jakość tego materiału.
