Past Masters collects their singles on two CDs, including essential nonalbum cuts such as "She Loves You," "Hey Jude," "Yes It Is," and "Rain." The 1977 Love Songs had a nice cover.

15 de ene. de 2018 · A lot of the tracks sound weedy competed to the 45s or the same tracks on the red and blue compilations. Mono Masters is fantastic and makes the 80s Past Masters vinyl redundant to me. It might get played again sometime through curiosity, but not much. The recent DeAgostini reissue of Past Masters is getting praise but I won't be buying it.

I’m playing this on a Fluance RT-85 turntable w/an Ortofon 2m Blue cart, thru Fluance XL8F towers, Fluance DB12 subwoofer and a fully restored Marantz 2245 receiver and this sounds Glorious!!

7 de jun. de 2013 · Past Masters Volume One pretty much covers the era leading up to and culminating in Beatlemania. Here goes: “Love Me Do”: Worthwhile only because it was the first. The song itself is a bore, with moronic lyrics and generally dull music. This kind of stuff was never going to get them to the toppermost of the poppermost.
