25 de dic. de 2012 · Bacterial communities in postglacial soils of Ecology Glacier (King George Island, Antarctica) were investigated in terms of abundance, physiology, and taxonomic affiliation. Our findings provide a description of changes in the glacier’s edge, as well as a comparison of soil microbiocenoses in two transects with different ground stability and plant coverage along lateral moraines.
