30 de jun. de 2022 · Extending safeguards on steel is of course welcome news here in Newport East, but the government needs to go further – much further – to make the UK the best place in the world to make steel. It’s time they worked with BEIS and partners to bring forward a green steel deal to protect jobs and the steel industry. Yesterday, I called on the government to do just this.
