Steve Alaimo (Omaha, 6 december 1939) is een Amerikaanse popzanger en voormalig tieneridool uit de jaren 1960.. Jeugd. Alaimo verhuisde op 5-jarige leeftijd met zijn familie naar Rochester en studeerde medicijnen aan de Universiteit van Miami, voordat hij met een neef zijn eerste eigen instrumentale band The Redcoats formeerde.Ze hadden in 1959 hun eerste kleine hit met I Want You to Love Me.
