Steve Hackett como miembro fundador del sonido de Genesis es uno de los que más cariño guarda hacia esa música de sus compañeros de grupo y por esto, en 1996, se dedica a trabajar en un proyecto para recrear versiones de su antiguo grupo, titulado “Genesis Revisited", incluyendo algunos temas propios que siente que representan el mismo espíritu.
