Een van de meest markante, geniale muzikanten en invloedrijke zangers is van ons heengegaan. Gedurende meer dan een halve eeuw verwarmde hij onze harten met de prachtigste stem die de popmuziek rijk was.

Walker Scott, also Walker-Scott or Walker's, was a chain of department stores in San Diego and surrounding area from 1935 to 1986 and had eight branches at the time of its closure. It was founded by Ralf Marc (or R.M.) Walker and George A. Scott. History.
Scott Walker's solo career began with two albums, named Scott (Fontana, 1967) and Scott 2 (Philips, 1968), which were mainly tributes to his idol Jacques Brel. The latter included his first classics, The Girls From The Streets and Plastic Palace People.
