Difford & Tilbrook was also the name under which the pair recorded and toured following the temporary break-up of Squeeze in 1982. That band reunited in 1985 after one self-titled album had been released from the pair. By 1993, Difford and Tilbrook were the only original members left in Squeeze.
26 de ene. de 2007 · The Difford and Tilbrook sound and lyrics are certainly here. Most of the tunes are 'synth-keyboard' driven; Not the usual guitar base. It lacks a "band sound'. Heavy phase-effect and 80's style. I bought the original album and was disappointed at that time. That being said, average Difford Tilbrook, is pretty good!

Released as the first single from Difford & Tilbrook, "Love's Crashing Waves" saw moderate commercial success. Though considered the most commercial song on the album, it saw limited chart success: it was the act's only charting single in the UK (reaching number 57), and by 1985 Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook had re-formed their previous (and more popular) band, Squeeze .
