The GTOs were an all-girl group from the Los Angeles area, specifically the Sunset Strip scene. Active for only two and a half years with a single reunion in 1974, their only album, Permanent Damage, produced by Frank Zappa, was released in 1969.
The GTOs are a 5-piece group but sound like a 20-piece band thanks to MIDI (musical instrument digital interface) and can fill up a large stage or fit in the smallest venue.
