  1. The Jones Girls were an American R&B trio comprised of sisters Brenda Jones (6), Shirley Jones and Valorie Jones, from Detroit, Michigan. They performed as backup singers for Lou Rawls, Teddy Pendergrass, Aretha Franklin, and Le Pamplemousse.They also worked with Diana Ross from 1975–78 before signing with Philadelphia International Records in 1979 and releasing their first album.
