Ambitious reporter Shelley Hack discovers a serial killer is roaming the Los Angeles freeway system in a van blaring free-jazz fiddle music and forcing single women drivers to crash their cars in broad daylight. There would seem to be a fair number of uncontrollable variables in that plan.

13 de ago. de 2011 · So as you can see, DEATH CAR ON THE FREEWAY is basically THE CHINA SYNDROME (a big hit in early ’79) meets DUEL (1971). In fact, Needham copies Spielberg’s film in that the villain’s face is never shown onscreen and we only see quick shots of his hands or feet.
