A newly engaged couple finds out if they are truly compatible when a clergyman puts them through a rigorous marriage-prep class.
Synopsis. Newly engaged, Ben and Sadie can't wait to start their life together and live happily ever after. However Sadie's family church's Reverend Frank won't bless their union until they pass his patented, "foolproof" marriage prep course consisting of outrageous classes, outlandish homework assignments and some outright invasion of privacy.
But this isn't a comedy that thrives on realism. Moore and Krasinski don't have much to do besides watch Williams riff. They're charming actors, so the romance is believable enough, but License to Wed is basically a fluffy piece of Robin Williams cake. If you enjoy his flavor of comedy, this is an amusing, light flick.
