Through the showcase, Escobedo met Eli Gonda who cast her in his upcoming independent film, "Sid is Dead." In her first pilot season, Escobedo booked ABC's drama series "The Baker and the Beauty." Additionally, she is currently shooting Quibi's upcoming limited series "Don't Look Deeper," directed by Catherine Hardwicke.
