Allan Holdsworth (n. 6 august 1946, Bradford, Anglia, Regatul Unit – d. 15 aprilie 2017, Vista (d), California, SUA) a fost un chitarist și compozitor englez. De-a lungul a peste patru decenii a cântat numeroase stiluri muzicale dar este cel mai cunoscut ca muzician de jazz fusion .
Allan Holdsworth (born August 6, 1946; Bradford, West Yorkshire, England – died April 16, 2017; Vista, California, USA) was an English guitarist and composer best known for his work in jazz fusion. After recording with a number of bands throughout the 1970's, his first solo album was released – against his will – as 1976's Velvet Darkness .
Allan Holdsworth, född 6 augusti 1946 i Bradford i West Yorkshire, död 15 april 2017 i Vista i Kalifornien, [1] var en brittisk jazz gitarrist känd för sina mycket komplexa kompositioner och tekniska förmåga.. Holdsworth var medlem i många grupper genom åren, varav den första var det progressiva rockbandet Tempest där han medverkade på 1970-talet.
