I can appreciate what Ab-Soul was trying to do here, but what I don't understand is why nobody told him how poorly he was executing his goal.These Days... is supposed to be a time capsule of what modern hip hop is, but it acts more as modern hip hop's blooper reel. Ab-Soul abandons his introspective, political style in favour of pop rap tracks on all but a few songs.
