Godley and Creme were the most misunderstood duo I have ever heard. Consequences in its original form was a masterpeice, the exploration of the "Gizmo" futuristic. Although this album highlights the best songs from the original triple album, it still captures some magic.
Godley & Creme were post-punk before punk was even invented. The first record of the set is a gem, they were doing music that KLF/The Orb would be doing to great acclaim 15 years later. The two last records is a jumbled up Peter Cook comedy album, with added 10cc schmaltz.
