Mathematics. The Upper School mathematics program at Berkeley Carroll strives to develop life-long problem-solvers who approach math problems, unfamiliar and familiar, with confidence and perseverance. Students ask why and are pushed to discover mathematical concepts, with help from their teachers, through deductive proofs and experiments.
ARTS. While the Upper School has a two year visual or performing art requirement, the fact that the majority of our students take art for four years emphasizes the centrality of the arts to the BC culture. In 9th and 10th grade, students can choose from a variety of performing and visual arts to explore what interests them.
