Original members Carl Giammarese, Nick Fortuna and the band continue to perform all the hits, and much more, in a show full of nostalgia and humor.
The Buckinghams disbanded in 1970, but reformed in 1980. The band's original lineup included Carl Giammarese (lead guitar and vocals), Nick Fortuna (bass), Dennis Miccolis (keyboards), ("Jon-Jon") John Poulos (drums), Curtis Bachman (vocals), and Dennis Tufano (vocals). Bachman departed after the band's first single.

18 de mar. de 2024 · About The Buckinghams Chicago's leading pop/rock band during the mid-'60s, the Buckinghams flirted with major success, but never broke through to the big time. The group's attempts, however, led to a number of memorable pop hits, including the melancholy "Kind of a Drag" and the infectious "Hey Baby (They’re Playing Our Song)."
I recently spoke with Dennis Tufano, the man whose golden voice rocketed all those Buckinghams hits to the top of the charts. He discussed his days with the group, what led to their precipitous fall and dissolution, and how his career today has developed in ways he probably wouldn’t have imagined in 1967.
