Face à l’insoutenable réalité, on préfère fermer les yeux (cf Eyes Wide Shut) et on avale la soupe qu’on veut bien nous servir (cf Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable). C’est plus commode.

It is also the source for the film of the same name directed by David Cronenberg, the first cinematic adaptation of a work by John Wagner since 1995's Judge Dredd.
