16 de dic. de 2006 · This BLUE MITCHELL's Out of the Blue belongs to the marvelous trilogy that Mitchell made for Riverside in the 50' s although in my opinion a little bit polished in the arrangements respect the other two the superbs BIG 6 and BLUE SOUL having the three in common, nevertheless, great themes, great interpretations and the pianist WINTON KELLY a number one, what a great pianist.

Blue Mitchell (also known as Soul Village) is an album by American trumpeter Blue Mitchell recorded in 1971 and released on the Mainstream label.. The album features a composition titled "Soul Village" that is credited to Blue Mitchell. Pianist Walter Bishop, Jr., who plays on Blue Mitchell, also recorded the "Soul Village" for his albums Keeper of My Soul (1973) and Soul Village (1977).

Well marked trail from to Mitchell and blue lake. Good scrambling up to little blue lake. All Trails and cairns were spot on up the scramble. Saw 7 moose! 3 were right on the trail which was a little scary because I didn’t see them coming around a corner. eventually they were on their way but definitely had a good scare.
