Newnham is currently one of three women’s Colleges in Cambridge, but is open to both male and female students during the summer. You can choose a standard single room with shared bathroom facilities, or a modern en suite single or double room. Newnham College provides served buffet-style dinners, and a traditionally-served Formal Friday.
Newnham has a sizeable and dynamic community of Geographers. It has an excellent reputation in Geography, and Newnham students achieve very good results. The subject is well supported in the College: there are several funds reserved for Geography fieldwork, and a large collection of Geography books in the College library.
