Luther Grosvenor DeLisle Harper Tony Mitchell Roger Brown Iain Campbell Rab Noakes: Stealers Wheel were a Scottish folk rock/rock band formed in 1972 in Paisley, Scotland, by former school friends Joe Egan and Gerry Rafferty. Their best-known hit is "Stuck in the Middle with You".

More flamboyant than his predecessor, Grosvenor added a dash of showmanship to Mott The Hoople that chimed with the vaudevillian madness of glam rock. He ended up playing on the album version of Roll Away The Stone that appeared on The Hoople.
29 de may. de 2020 · Grosvenor, Kellie and Mike Harrison pressed on as Spooky Tooth, bringing in personnel from Joe Cocker’s Grease Band to make 1970’s more conventional The Last Puff. Kellie and Grosvenor left soon after. “Spooky Tooth were the best band I’d ever been in,” Grosvenor reflects.
LUTHER GROSVENOR discography - with the V.I.P.s. The V.I.P.s formed in Carlisle in 1963 and the first line-up was Jimmy Henshaw (guitar, keyboards), Walter Johnstone (drums), Frank Kenyan (guitar), Greg Ridley (bass) and Mike Harrison (vocals). They released a couple singles for RCA in 1964-65 before signing to Island in 1966.
