Commanderie de Bisham. La commanderie de Bisham (Bistlesham) est une ancienne commanderie de l' ordre du Temple (templiers), devenue un prieuré de Chanoines réguliers au XIVe siècle et l'une des résidences secondaires des comtes de Salisbury. Ce n'est qu'au XVIe siècle que le lieu est érigé en abbaye ( Ordre de Saint-Benoît ).

Bisham Abbey boasts two glass backed squash courts, with league and competition events taking place throughout the year. Our gym members have the added benefit of being able to use our squash courts free of charge (subject to availability). Non-members and pay as you go members can book a court & pay online.
