Deshalb ist Magical Mystery oder die Rückkehr des Karl Schmidt ein über weite Strecken unterhaltsamer Film, der sich leider gelegentlich in den Auftritten und der Musik allzu sehr treiben lässt. Aber irgendwie passt das dann auch wieder in diese Zeit der Raves und Partys, die tagelang gingen – und in denen man sich schwitzend von den Beats durch die Nacht treiben ließ.
