ブラインド・ガーディアン（blind guardian）は、ドイツ出身のパワーメタル・バンド 。 1984年に「ルシファーズ・ヘリテイジ」というバンド名で旧西ドイツのクレーフェルトとメーアブッシュにて結成。1987年に「ブラインド・ガーディアン」という名前に変更。
Blind Guardian é uma banda de power metal formada no ano de 1984, em Krefeld, na Alemanha.Antes de adotarem o nome Blind Guardian, os músicos da formação original lançaram duas demos com o nome Lucifer's Heritage, em 1985 e 1986. [1] Os membros da banda são: Hansi Kürsch como vocalista, André Olbrich e Marcus Siepen nas guitarras, Frederik Ehmke na bateria, e Barend Courbois no baixo.

Teksty utworów grupy inspirowane są baśniowym światem fantasy , czego przykładem jest album pt. Nightfall in Middle-Earth , będący w całości muzyczną interpretacją „ Silmarillionu ” J.R.R. Tolkiena .

Tokyo Tales is an excellent live recording, showing Blind Guardian at their peak. 31 de ago. de 2017 · Blind Guardian's "Tokyo Tales" features live performances of songs from their first 4 CDs up to "Somewhere Far Beyond" and perhaps the best selections to showcase the Blind Guardian live shows as well. I've never owned the original 1993 version, but the remastered version sounds pretty good - loud, dynamic, and full.
