7 de ago. de 2015 · Music Critic review of Live at the 12 Bar [Reissue], the Aug 7, 2015 album release by Bert Jansch. Originally released on CD in 1996, Live At The 12 Bar, an unofficial straight-to-DAT in-concert recording became one of the cornerstones of Bert Jansch’s critical and commercial renaissance at the turn of the century.
From 1995, Jansch appeared frequently at the 12 Bar Club in Denmark Street, London. One of his live sets there was recorded direct to Digital Audio Tape (DAT) by Jansch's then manager, Alan King, and was released as the Live at the 12 Bar: an official bootleg album in 1996.

Bert's meticulous performance brings together songs from When The Circus Comes To Town , released in the same year, along with the haunting reworking of Blues Run The Game (written by Earth's own Jackson C.
