25 de may. de 2004 · first noise album i was able to sit through, on my 3rd relisten in one day. read somewhere that ichiro agata gets his inspiration from video games and that is very apparent on this album. what is interesting is that he seems to get the inspiration more from the sound effects than the actual soundtrack. pinger has some evangelion-esq sound effects at the end. twilight sinking is probably my ...
Ichiro Agata is the guitarist for the Japanese noise rock band Melt-Banana. Agata is known particularly for his furious stage antics, jumping and constantly moving around, and exceedingly unique approach to playing the guitar which involves extended technique, heavy use of effects pedals, and guitar slides resulting in sounds not easily attributed to the guitar.

Other noise guitarists, like Ichiro Agata of Melt Banana, have taken the pedal in similar sonic directions, but Loveless remains the pinnacle of this shoegazing approach.
