All I found were Sterling saying Cale was strongly against Yule being part of the reunion, and in contrast Cale seems to be having a blast on self titled and Loaded songs in the 1993 gigs. “I never met Doug.”. I don't think he said much about him to the press other than what I saw in the Apple documentary.

Durante un'intervista per la radio il 26 dicembre 1972, venne chiesto a Lou Reed se sapesse dove Doug Yule si trovasse, e lui bruscamente rispose: «Morto, spero». 27 de nov. de 2022 · The idea to exclude Yule from Hall Of Fame was laughable. Lou Reed had painted this evil villain picture of him and the Hall bowed to it. Doug Yule was a fantastic musician who deserved every bit as much honour as Reed/Cale/Morrison & Tucker. Yule saved the Loaded album and his musicianship is all over that album as well as the 3rd album.
