Excellent pressing with deep, full bass and rich treble. James’s slide sounds bright and wild and the dynamics highlight the rest of the band, as well. 15 de mar. de 2023 · One of my blues favorites is Elmore James (27.01.1918 - 24.05.1963), the King of the Slide Guitar. Actual name Elmore Brooks, an illegitimate son of 15-year-old Leola Brooks. He was influenced by Robert Johnson, Kokomo Arnold and Tampa Red, and Elmore has in turn influenced many guitarists.
