Roger Michell fue un director, productor y guionista sudafricano. Antes de alcanzar el éxito internacional con la comedia “Notting Hill” (1999), protagonizada por Julia Roberts y Hugh Grant, Michell estudió en la Universidad de Cambridge y dio inicio a su carrera teatral en el Royal Court Theatre.
