The whole town is Meringue and Sherlock mad and you can’t turn a corner without seeing something which relates to both. You have to love it though, it’s such a quaint little town which is proud of it’s heritage.
The glacier gorge Rosenlaui is a natural monument of national significance. The meltwaters of the Rosenlaui Glacier flow thunderously through this ravine. A secured footpath leads through the narrow ravine, which is enclosed by up to 80 meter high rockfaces. The meltwaters flow onwards to the valley and turn into the Reichenbach brook.
