16 de mar. de 2022 · The main attraction is of course the Jericho Tell, or Tell al-Sultan, which can be found 2.5 kilometers from Jericho’s main square. This ancient settlement mound is 21 meters (69 ft) high, and while it may be hard to decipher for the untrained eye, this is a fundamental location for understanding the history of human civilization as the world’s oldest continually inhabited city.
