Ken Stringfellow is co-founder of one of the most critically acclaimed power pop bands of the '90s, the Posies, which he formed in 1989 with Jon Auer. Based in Bellingham, Washington, the two created a demo tape in Auer's parents' basement and sent it to PopLlama Records in Seattle.

Ken Stringfellow (* 30. Oktober 1968 in Los Angeles ) ist ein US-amerikanischer Musiker, bekannt als Sänger und Gitarrist der Power-Pop -Band The Posies sowie als Gitarrist bei White Flag . Stringfellows Band The Posies löste sich 2021 nach dem Bekanntwerden polizeilicher Ermittlungen gegen Stringfellow wegen des Verdachts auf sexuellen Missbrauch auf.
I am not famous. Some people have expressed interest in my work over the years with the Posies, Big Star, REM, Lagwagon, etc. I have made two records as Ken Stringfellow: This Sounds Like Goodbye (Hidden Agenda, 1997) and Touched (Manifesto, 2001). They each scratched an itch I had at the time. I am now presenting Soft Commands on YepRoc.
