In 1935, Meisner joined the faculty of The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre and continued as the Director of the Acting Department until his retirement in 1990, and served as Director Emeritus until his death in 1997. In 1928, The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre opened its doors.

30 de abr. de 2024 · The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre is proud to present the Final Plays, starring the talented Class of 2024! The plays include Small Mouth Sounds by Bess Wohl, Red Velvet by Lolita Chakrabarti, and Book of Days by Lanford Wilson.Public performances will run from May 2nd to May 12th, with evening shows at 7:30pm and matinees on May 11th and 12th at 2:00pm.
