The Putney School recognizes that all students learn differently. Every student is unique and we know that when it comes to learning, one size doesn’t fit all. We pay close. Over the last 3 years, Putney students have been admitted to a number of competitive schools such as Columbia University, Dartmouth College, and Yale University.
We are a coeducational boarding and day school for grades 9 – 12. As a progressive school, we believe people learn best by doing. You will learn the art and skill of self motivation and self direction. You will discover issues, actions and concepts that you care about.
Rob directed jazz ensembles at the Putney School from 2013-2015, coaches chamber music ensembles and the jazz workshop at Brattleboro Union High School, and has taught a jazz improvisation class at Bellows Falls Union High School. He directed the Vermont District 6 Middle School Jazz Ensemble in November, 2015.
