2 de ene. de 2023 · Jeff Kashiwa became known as one of the most popular saxophonists in smooth jazz during his first year with The Rippingtons. Kashiwa has performed hundreds of shows all over the world and has appeared on many of the band’s classic recordings. In 2004 he created The Sax Pack along with fellow saxophonists Steve Cole and Kim Waters.
Biografia. Kashiwa si trasferì a Boston per frequentare il Berklee College of Music, dove sviluppò le sue abilità di musicista.Kashiwa si trasferì poi nella California meridionale per frequentare la California State University a Long Beach.Nel 1989, Kashiwa si unì ai Rippingtons quando il sassofonista originale, Brandon Fields, lasciò il gruppo.
