Synopsis. In Casabanca, wealthy, carefree Moroccan teenagers spend their final year of high school partying hard instead of studying for their exams. Life revolves around driving fast, drinking, and dancing. But friendships and the first forays into love, along with the anxiety of leaving childhood behind for adult life, also play their part.
After so many reviews, I feel like I owe at least one for my country, Morocco, Maroc in French, "Marock" in Leila Marrakchi's 'controversial' film. Released in 2005, the film still divides opinions : realistic and brave for some, voyeuristic and manipulative for others.
