After earning success as a performer and songwriter with The Move, The Electric Light Orchestra and Wizzard, the supremely talented Roy Wood recorded the material for what should have been his third solo album in the Spring of 1976.
His bands – The Move, ELO and ultimately Wizzard – regularly stormed the charts in the late sixties and early seventies. In 1972, he wrote a ten track love letter to the popular music of his youth, titled “Introducing Eddy and The Falcons”. It was recorded and released by Wizzard in 1974. As a pastiche, there are few to touch it.
